The Rev. Dan Morrow served St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Oregon City, Oregon, a church that has seen rapid growth and development, nearly doubling in size over the last 5 years. Originally from Oklahoma, he graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in philosophy, and worked as a Youth Minister in Paris, France before entering seminary at Claremont School of Theology in California. During seminary Dan was confirmed in the Episcopal Church and ordained in the Diocese of Los Angeles where he served a curacy before embarking on a 3 year associate position in the Church of England parish in Zurich, Switzerland. In addition to parish work, he has served at General Convention, on non-profit executive boards, and as convocation dean. He teaches at the College for Congregational Development and is a Missional Leadership Fellow of Luther Seminary. Dan is passionate about community and congregational development, missional engagement, and the Jesus movement that calls us to reconciling work. He is happily married to Teresa, a clinical laboratory scientist, and they enjoy travelling, listening to music, art museums and hikes in beautiful places. In his free time Dan loves to play guitar and mandolin, watch college football, read good books and drink good coffee.
